| Caribbean is a good alternative of the game Texas hold 'em. Actually is is referred as Caribbean stud poker which is very much similar to traditional five card stud poker. In this game player plays on the table exactly like in blackjack game. This is the first game that offer progressive jackpot and this feature make it unique from other games and that's why its gaining popularity in very less time. The origin of this game is from Caribbean island. After that very soon it gained popularity and played in the casinos of America and Europe. This game is started in the same manner than any poker game. This game is played with five-cards hands. Players can bet only against the dealer and not against each other. In this game there is three betting spots for each player. One is marked with Bet, second is with Ante and the third spot is for progressive jackpot. When the play begins each player places a bet on the box marked with Ante after that dealer will give five cards to each player. He himself also get five cards. After that player decides whether to place the bet or fold the bet. If player decide to place the bet then that bet must be equal to amount in the Ante. The dealer must be qualified to win the game and to be qualified he must have an Ace-King or better in his hand. If not so that is the dealer does not win than each player receive equal amount of money that is placed in Ante bet. The player can win the progressive jackpot only if they have flush or higher card after placing the bet. If the player does not win then the jackpot spot is collected by dealer. After that cards are reshuffled and a new game begins. |
