 The another popular game which is played in casinos are craps. It is a dice game which is played against bank or players. It is developed from the old English game hazard. The origin of craps may date to Crusades and later it is influenced by French gambler. The earliest name of the game was crapaud. In this game player may gamble against each other or bank. This game does not require any special equipment so it is very simple to play this game. That's why it is very popular among soldiers. The game which is played against the casino is bank craps. In this game the casino covers the bets of all the players in a common table. After that player get the chance to roll the dice. The player who rolls the dice is commonly known as shooter. A game played in casino tables are run by four employees of casino. These are boxman, two base dealers, stickman, The different type of wagers are:
1. Line bets: These are based on points. The shooter is required to make Don't pass line bet or Pass line bet. The different line bets include Pass line bet, don't pass line bet, pass odds, don't pass odds, come bet, and don't come bet.
2. Single roll bets: These are resolved by shooter in one dice roll. The different bets include are 2 (snake-eyes,or Aces), 3 (ace-deuce),Yo, 12 (boxcars, or midnight), 2 or 12(hi-lo), Any craps(three-way), C& E, Any seven etc.
3. Multi roll bets: These bets are usually not set in one roll of dice. The rolling of dice continues until the proper outcome is not determined. The different bets include hard way, Easy way, Big 6 and Big 8, Place and Buy, Lay. |
